18th Annual Academic Sessions – Sri Lanka College of Radiologists
The 18thAnnual Academic Sessions by the Sri Lanka College of Radiologists in collaboration with Musculoskeletal Society of India was held at Galadari Hotel, Colombo, Sri Lanka on the 31 of August and 1stof September 2019.
The theme for this year’s congress was “Essentials in Musculoskeletal Imaging” in which there have been a lot of developments in recent times. The distinguished panel of speakers comprised of renowned speakers from the Musculoskeletal Society of India as well as renowned local and foreign resource persons.
It was also an opportunity for all participants to get acquainted with the latest technological developments by visiting the technology exhibition.
Pyramed International Pvt. Ltd sponsored provided a sponsorship and an exhibition stall where we were able to display our products. Many leading Consultant Radiologists and Doctors specializing in Radiology, visited the exhibition stall in order to gain insight about new products and features of Samsung Healthcare products as well as to clarify the issues that they face when using the machine.
We mainly focused on the new features made available on the premium US scanners RS80 and RS85, as well the fast moving mid-range scanner, HS40. Many doctors commented about the superior image quality as well the user friendly features available on Samsung Ultrasound scanners while we received some criticism as well with respect to image quality and the durability.
We were able to secure many sales leads which we will follow up in the future and hope to complete these sales.

In conclusion it was a successful event for Pyramed International, where we received feedback from our users to improve on, as well as complements about the advanced and user friendly features of Samsung Ultrasound Scanners.
